WFTA's contribution to Black History Month 2022

The Town Hall  1-6th  Nov  -   The Banners returned to the Town Hall for the WFTA  Flag raising ceremonies: Independence Anniversaries  of Antigua & Barbuda on 1st and Dominica on 3rd November.
Leabridge  Library 25-29th Oct  -   The Banners on display  celebrating  Black History Month 22.   There is indepth information about each person using the  QR code  on the banners  and    BHM 22  webpage.
Chingford Library 18-24th Oct  -   The Banners on display  celebrating  Black History Month 22.   There is indepth information about each person using the  QR code  on the banners  and    BHM 22  webpage. It was a pleasure to explain the display to a group of thirty year 6 local school children.
Leytonstone Library 10-17th Oct  -   The Banners on display  celebrating  Black History Month 22.   There is indepth information about  each person using the  QR code  on the banners 
Town Hall  3-9th - Friday the 7th October event  Schools and council staff,  coming together to hear Peter Ashan, Pauline Campbell and Mervin Caesar-John from Waltham Forest Twinning Association.   Everyone joined in the conversation  also using the QR code  on the banners celebrating  Black History Month 22.

​Touring exhibition of banners dipicting the Windrush  experience and the 
Black community’s role in the health service.
